Five Course Wine Dinner

Where the Men are Men and the Crocs are Nervous.

 Course 1:

Chiko Roll

A type of spring roll stuffed with Emu meat, cabbage, carrot and rice. It will be served over a spring mix salad; topped with a port reduction.

 Innocent Bystander Pinot Noir

The nose explodes with dark cherries, cranberries and fresh raspberries backed by subtle nutmeg and cinnamon spices.  The juicy palate displays fresh berries with a slippery, rich and slightly tart finish.

Course 2:

Australian Slow Cook

A hearty stew containing Lamb, curry, vegetables and soy…  This exquisite delight is cooked very slowly for maximum tenderness.

d’Arenberg Love Grass Shiraz

Complex, layered aromas of Satsuma plum, mulberry and black olive lifted by spices of anise and cardamom and tight floral notes.  The palate is rich and juicy, with fragrant red fruits and a punchy, dry finish reminiscent of licorice and blackcurrant leaf with firm, savory tannins.

Course 3:

Barramundi

Australian Sea Bass grilled and topped with a fresh lemon; served with a delicious lemon myrtle mash.

Stump Jump White Blend

(Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay)

Its nose is initially dominated by Riesling notes of citrus and lime, with passion fruit and tropical fruit from the Sauvignon Blanc emerging.   Spices, musk, freshly cut flower stems and almonds round out the mid-palate, finished with great textural richness and crisp, clean acidity.

Course 4:

Skewered Prawns

Grilled and served over Asian slaw which is made of cabbage, carrot, soy and sesame oil.   Topped with lemon garlic butter.

 Leeuwin Siblings Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon

The nose shows lifted lemon blossom and a herbaceous dustiness typical of Sauvignon Blanc from Margaret River, with freshly cut grass and a spiciness from the cool climate Semillon fruit.  The palate is fresh and zesty, showing green apple and citrus pith, yet with a luscious full body which adds softness.

Course 5:

Fresh Fruit Pavlova

Pavlova is a delicious dessert that consists of a meringue cake with a whipped cream topping, and includes sliced berries and strawberries.  It is an extremely popular dessert throughout Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom.

Greg Norman Sparkling

On the nose there are lifted strawberry, citrus and nutty aromas with just a hint of sherbet character.   The palate is medium to full-bodied in style with generous stone fruit and citrus flavors.

 $49.95 per person
